Michael Färber's Research Group

Welcome! I’m Michael Färber, a full professor at ScaDS.AI and TU Dresden, Germany, where I head the Cognitive AI Unit. Our research focuses on trustworthy AI for science at the intersection of large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, and information retrieval. We develop methods for grounding AI in structured and external knowledge to enable retrieval-augmented, verifiable, and evidence-based generation and scientific knowledge discovery.

We also apply these methods to other knowledge-intensive domains, including healthcare and education. We welcome research, industry, and public-sector collaborations.
